Waldo Canyon Fire

Sorry if absences don't go here but I didn't see a specific board for them so...oops?

Anyway, down here in Colorado Springs we have the monstrous beast that is the Waldo Canyon Fire. It's consumed 2000+ acres of land and is 0% contained as of this morning. There are five areas that have been issued a mandatory evacuation due to the remarkably fast pace the blaze is consuming land. My father's home is in one of these areas as is my grandparents home. Right now my father's house has a line of 30+ firefighters ready to tackle the blaze that is predicted to soon consume his entire neighborhood. My grandparents are only a few miles away (in Manitou) and are coming to stay with us due to the evacuation. There's a lot of emotional stress going on right now and my activity will definitely take a turn for the worst until the raging inferno is contained enough for my family to (hopefully) go back to their homes if they're not burned to the ground. I'm sorry and I'll try to get up replies and Cerberus's bio when I have some free time, but until then...

^{Loki, you're in Colorado too!? I feel for you, though my family has yet to be evacuated at all. I'm so glad that we got a little bit of rain today, it helped at least for people to breathe, I think. I'll keep you in my many thoughts and prayers that are going out to everyone involved.}
